Catch the elevator, then follow DJ to the surface
Survive the final chase in Terrible Lizards by crossing the goo-coated walls, yellow overhead bars and higher red suspended structure, then jumping back onto DJ's moving elevator. Once the lift reaches its upper destination, follow DJ through the dark exit tunnel and climb the ladder to the surface.
There are no weapons, and combat is not an option. Keep your attention on the route ahead, using the terrain to outmaneuver the pursuit. Treat the moving elevator as your destination throughout the final chase.
Get the crew lift key from Cavern B
The crew lift key is essential: without it, the lift system does not work. Your route starts at the crew-lift camp with DJ and leads through Cavern A and Cavern B before returning to the camp. Keep the camp's covered lift console in mind as the destination for your return trip.
- Speak with DJ at the crew-lift camp to begin the preparations for your escape. This is the camp you will return to with the key.
- Restore the lights before leaving the camp to search for the crew lift key.
- Retrieve the dynamite from Cavern A so you can open the entrance to Cavern B.
- Blast open Cavern B with the dynamite to gain access to the route leading to the key.
- Climb through Cavern B toward the high ridge, where the crew lift key is beside a body.

- Follow the return chase route back to the crew-lift camp, bringing the key to the covered lift console.
Start the lift and follow the final chase route
- Turn the key at the camp's covered lift console to prepare the crew lift for use.
- Operate the lift lever before heading down toward the elevator. Keep the Crew Lift sign in mind as your next landmark.
- Descend beneath the Crew Lift sign to reach the elevator's boarding area.
- Board the elevator with DJ so you are together for the escape attempt.

- Run and jump between the goo-coated walls along the side of the cavern to advance along the route back to the elevator.
- Use the yellow overhead bars to continue along the cavern-side route. Keep your attention on the next landing rather than turning back toward the pursuer.
- Cross the higher red suspended structure to continue along the escape route. Aim for a controlled landing before committing to the onward jump.
- Traverse the cramped cave to reach the final creature-filled path. Keep moving through the passage instead of stopping to check behind you.
- Follow the final path through the creatures toward the moving elevator. Focus on reaching the lift, with DJ's call as your cue for the return jump.
- Sprint and jump back onto the moving elevator when DJ calls. Commit to reaching the platform; that jump gets you out of the cavern-side chase.
Take the exit tunnel to Stella's car
- Ride the elevator through the scripted struggle until it reaches its upper destination. Your next destination is the dark exit tunnel with DJ.
- Follow DJ into the dark exit tunnel to reach the ladder. Use his route out of the lift area as your direction for the final stretch.
- Climb the ladder to the surface to reach the final scene beside Stella's car.
