Get the flashlight and follow the route toward backstage
To survive Dilo Dash in Terrible Lizards, collect the flashlight token, exchange it for the dinosaur-shaped flashlight, and use its light to navigate the dark parkour route. After the attraction, climb the display case left of the blocked exit and recover the button that opens the meteor passage toward backstage.
Find Dennis beside the token-redemption shutter
Dennis is the park’s Dilophosaurus Paleo Pal, with a display beside the Dilo Dash attraction in Chapter 1. His talk box is immediately left of the token-redemption shutter. Use that shutter as your landmark when returning with the token to collect your flashlight.
Reach the token and collect your flashlight
The approach from the security room takes you across an electrified floor before you reach the flashlight token. Stay on the platforms through this stretch, then use the yellow pipes and exhibit pillars to reach the upper route. The token is at the end of the additional pillars to your right.
- Leave the security room to the right to reach the platforming section on the way to Dilo Dash.
- Jump between the platforms to cross the electrified area without touching the ground.
- Cross the alley using the yellow pipes ahead, which take you over to the far side.
- Drop down on the other side of the pipes to reach the path toward the next exhibit.
- Follow the path straight ahead to the next exhibit, where pillars provide the way upward.
- Climb the exhibit’s pillars to reach the top and get access to the upper route.
- Cross the additional pillars on your right at the top to reach the token at their end.
- Pick up the token so you can exchange it for the flashlight before entering the attraction.
- Descend from the exhibit to return to the lower area and continue toward the redemption booth.
- Head right from the exhibit to find the booth where you can redeem your flashlight token.
- Exchange the token at the booth to receive the dinosaur-shaped flashlight for the dark attraction.
Use the light to read the dark parkour route
Keep the flashlight directed toward the path and your next landing. Give yourself a clear view before committing to a jump, then shift your attention forward as you land. Treat visibility and movement as part of the same task: use the beam to choose where you are going.
Carry your momentum from each jump into the next, and adjust your direction in mid-air to line up your landing. Those movement options help you make corrections while continuing through the platforming. Focus on a clean landing that sets up the next move.

Open the meteor passage when the exit is blocked
After Dilo Dash, the visible exit is blocked, and the route onward begins above the display case on your left. You need the loose button from the raised route to operate the meteor exhibit. Once you activate it, move promptly through the parkour route to reach the opening the meteor came through.
- Climb the display case on the left of the blocked exit to reach the platforms above.
- Jump onto a moving dinosaur dummy and grab it so it carries you across the gap.
- Release your grip on the far side to leave the moving exhibit and continue along the raised route.
- Pick up the loose button on top of the boxes so you can use it at the meteor console.
- Descend from the raised route to return to the lower area with the button.
- Head left to the dark room containing a single exhibit, where you will find the console.
- Place the loose button on the console to make the exhibit’s control available.
- Press the button to bring the asteroid out of the exhibit and begin the route toward its opening.
- Jump straight ahead to start moving through the parkour route toward the meteor passage.
- Slide beneath the dinosaur on your left to reach the next part of the route.
- Climb the pillars on your right to reach the platforms above the exhibit.
- Follow the upper route around the exhibit to reach the pipes before the final opening.
- Slide beneath the pipes to position yourself for the jump into the meteor passage.
- Jump through the opening the meteor came from to progress toward backstage.
Recognize the later gift-shop mascot pursuit
The gift-shop mascot pursuit happens later, when a mascot interferes with three fuse repairs before the Brontosaurus floodlight sequence. Dilo Dash has its own progression: collect the flashlight, navigate the attraction, then use the meteor passage when the exhibit exit is blocked. Use those landmarks to identify which part of the route you are tackling.
