Which Creatures Hunt You?

Brontosaurus, Allosaurus, a pursuing gift-shop mascot and the Dilophosaurus-human Hybrid are among your enemies in Terrible Lizards. Survive by creating space for repairs, completing Bronto's floodlight objectives, briefly facing Allosaurus to interrupt its movement, and following the Hybrid's blue-cavern and wallrun escape routes.

Hostile creatures also appear in the caverns, with smaller attackers near the final lift. Dilophosaurus is a named dinosaur design, but keep the dangerous Hybrid separate from the attraction's educational displays and mascot talk boxes when identifying a threat.

02

Use the Terrain to Stay Ahead

There are no usable weapons or combat options. The creatures are faster than you in a straight line, so survival depends on using the terrain through running, jumping, climbing, wall-running, bouncing and sliding.

Keep your attention on the next reachable platform or passage. Save notes and tapes for quieter moments, and create distance before stopping to interact with equipment. Treat each encounter's objective as your route forward rather than waiting for an opportunity to fight.

03

Gift Shop: Create Space for Fuse Repairs

The gift-shop mascot pursues you while you work on the fuses. Circle the shop fixtures between repairs, and open a gap before interacting with a fuse box. Plan the next repair before committing to the interaction.

  1. Circle the shop fixtures to create distance from the pursuing mascot before a repair.
  2. Place a fuse at the pillar near the toys section to advance the floodlight setup.
  3. Place the final fuse in the box on the pillar near the arcade once you have room to complete the interaction.

Brontosaurus: Floodlights and the Broken Exit

The attraction's Bronto encounter combines a lighting objective with an escape into the basement. Walking is preferable to constant sprinting while you work through the floodlight controls. Once Bronto destroys the exit, the route changes into a running chase.

  1. Collect the fuses from the basement to supply the floodlights.Playing this video connects to YouTube.

  2. Install the fuses in each floodlight to prepare the lighting system.Playing this video connects to YouTube.

  3. Pull the levers above the three fuse pillars to unlock the path forward.
  4. Take the vent near the end of the elevated route to return to the office.
  5. Activate the floodlights at the three earlier fuse boxes to complete the lighting objective while Bronto hunts below.
  6. Approach the exit to the right of the office, where Bronto destroys your intended way out.
  7. Turn back immediately when the exit is destroyed to face the escape route straight ahead.
  8. Run across the basement platforming route to reach the caverns and finish the chapter.

Brontosaurus in the Caverns: Take the Right Passage

Bronto returns during several cavern sequences. Match your escape to the section you are playing: the chase after the climbing section, the sub-switch tunnel, and the later padlock section have specific turns to follow. Avoid treating every appearance as the same route.

  1. Turn around when Bronto returns after the climbing section's cutscene to line yourself up with the path on your right.
  2. Sprint along that right-hand path, negotiating its platforms to escape the pursuit.
  3. In the sub-switch section, sprint through the tunnel on your right toward the narrow passage at its end to escape Bronto.
  4. Climb the rocks on your left after emerging from the narrow passage to resume the elevated platforming route.
  5. Make a U-turn when Bronto starts hunting near the end of the padlock section to face your escape direction.
  6. Run along the right-hand path in that section to escape and reach the next conversation with Stella.
06

Allosaurus: Face It Briefly, Then Use a Rock Slit

Allosaurus has an encounter-specific response: briefly facing it interrupts its movement. Use that interruption to support your escape through narrow rock slits. Keep your next passage in mind before turning your attention toward the creature.

  1. Briefly face Allosaurus to interrupt its movement during the encounter.
  2. Pass through a narrow rock slit to continue your escape from Allosaurus.
07

Hybrid: Follow the Blue-Cavern and Wallrun Routes

The Hybrid is the dangerous Dilophosaurus-human creature. Its escape sequences use marked blue-cavern and wallrun routes. Attempted firearms jam and do not provide a combat solution, so keep your attention on traversal.

  1. Follow the marked route through the blue cavern to progress through the Hybrid encounter.
  2. Use the marked wallrun route to continue your escape from the Hybrid.

Smaller attackers also appear near the final lift. Prioritize your onward escape and the next movement you need to make instead of searching for a fighting opportunity.

08

Recognize Talk Boxes, Dummies and Story Characters

Jordan, Stella and DJ are story characters. The Paleo Pal educational talk boxes are collectible interactions, and a named mascot statue should not automatically be treated as its corresponding monster. Pressing a talk-box button plays dinosaur facts.

Moving dino dummies backstage also serve as traversal props: hanging onto a dummy lets it carry you across before you drop off. The Dilo Dash exhibit has an electrified floor, so its immediate challenge is staying on the platforming route. Identify the actual hazard in front of you rather than reacting to every dinosaur display as a pursuer.
