Terrible Lizards is a single-player, first-person horror parkour game built around exploring, solving environmental puzzles and escaping dinosaurs. You move through the attraction and the underground spaces beneath it, learning routes and mechanics before the pressure rises. The main story gives you a path to follow, while notes and recordings add more of the history behind Dalton’s Dinos.

The usual rhythm is to enter a space, explore it, learn a mechanic or a new use for a familiar move, and then face harder platforming. Slower exploration and environmental puzzles break up that pressure. Hunt sections change the task again by putting a monster in an open area while you complete objectives and survive.

Running, jumping, sliding, climbing, swinging and wallrunning are your survival tools; there is no conventional combat. Carry momentum between jumps and use mid-air direction control to adjust a landing. When a route feels awkward, look at the next landing before committing to the jump, then use the calmer stretches to get comfortable with the movement.

A locked keypad and a blocked physical route need different help. The box-office puzzle uses a torn-paper clue, while the theater requires a fuse and a restarted pre-show to open the way onward. For keypad help, keep the digits in the order shown by your clue, including any leading zero; for a mechanism, follow the walkthrough’s interaction sequence.

During the gift shop fuse encounter, create distance from the enemy before stopping to place a fuse. During an auxiliary-door objective, inspect the crates, gaps and destination before pressing the button that starts the run. Leave notes and tapes for a quieter moment when a chase is already underway, so the immediate route gets your attention.

Notes, audio tapes and recordings give you more of the people and history behind Dalton’s Dinos. You can follow the main story without reading everything, so decide whether your current goal is progress or a thorough search. Amber also has a replay purpose: after beating the game, New Game Plus unlocks, with modifiers tied to the amber you find.

Use Level Select from the main menu to revisit levels and collect missed items. That gives you room to learn a route during the story and return for detours afterward. For Paleo Pals, the relevant interaction is the mascot statue’s button, which makes it give out facts.

Stuffed-animal deliveries need a different plan from ordinary collectible cleanup. Pick up the animal near the start of a level and carry it to the pedestal near the end; dying loses the animal and means restarting the level for another attempt. Save these runs for when the route feels familiar, so you can concentrate on getting through safely.
